Kevin McLemore is a second generation real estate broker having grown up in the business. The McLemore Group is centered around the strong bond that Kevin has with his father, Dan McLemore. They have been working together selling land, homes and commercial projects for 20+ years.
Kevin was raised in Mint Hill NC after a brief childhood stint in Wilmington NC (Go Seahawks!). After graduating high school, Kevin attended and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (Go 49ers!) in 1994.
During his final semester of college, Kevin took the North Carolina real estate exam and passed. And that began this journey of a thousand steps and missteps that is the real estate business.
Kevin earned his stripes early on working for a custom home builder managing the day to day sales in communities in the Greater Charlotte region including York County SC. Handling the negotiation of numerous sales contracts for a custom home builder taught him the importance of accuracy, truth, and commitment to get the transaction to closing.
After working for custom home builders in North Carolina and South Carolina, Kevin earned his NC Real Estate Brokers license in 1998 and started in the general brokerage real estate industry. Working for the largest privately owned real estate company in the Carolinas taught Kevin the crazy world of residential general brokerage.
Kevin specializes in helping sellers of unique properties get maximum value for their property with as little headache as possible. He has brokered transactions throughout the greater Charlotte region including the upstate of South Carolina.
Kevin is a member of National Association of Realtors, Charlotte Regional Realtors Association, Matthews Chamber of Commerce and holds a real estate brokers license in North Carolina and South Carolina.
Kevin lives in Mathews NC in Union County and enjoys spending time with his wife Brigette and their two kids, Cooper and Madi Grace. They enjoy the beach, camping in the mountains, watching athletic events, playing golf and always are up for a good dinner party with friends.

Art grew up in the local area and after serving in the US Army with a tour in Vietnam, returned home to build a profession and raise a family. Educated at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a degree in accounting, Art enjoyed a 30 year career as a CFO/Controller for various small businesses. This was great preparation for a second career in real estate. Selling and buying real estate is usually the largest financial transaction that people will make in their lifetime. Art’s background puts him in a position to understand the financial concerns related to their real estate decisions.
Art was raised on a farm which taught him the value of hard work from a young age and the importance of accepting responsibility. He also learned that building trust through honesty and integrity is the only way to relate to people’s needs. Art loves interacting with everyone and is comfortable having a conversation about their interests. Listening to people is the only way to understand what they want out of life, whether financial gain, personal comfort, or just to be happier.
Art enjoys spending time with his family of eleven including seven grandchildren. They are what drives him and makes him committed to keep them in a loving, supportive environment just like the one that served him so well in his life. He loves trips to the mountains, the beach, and pretty much any place he has not visited before. He is very active in his church and its mission to the community. Through his church family, he has a great circle of friends that have fun together, travel together, and lend much needed support.
Pat Swenson has been serving the real estate needs of buyers and sellers in Charlotte and surrounding towns for the past five years. Born in Scotland, she immigrated to the United States as a child and lived in Massachusetts for a number of years. She managed the family-owned real estate/construction business assisting buyers for both residential and multi-unit housing. Pat was also licensed in New York where she resided for fourteen years before moving to Charlotte. She attended Franklin Junior college with an emphasis on business and real estate.
She also comes with an extensive background as a certified Real Estate Paralegal having worked for some of the largest law firms in the area doing business with lawyers, bankers and agents. She shares her expertise and knowledge of the real estate closing process with her clients helping them make informed decisions whether buying or selling.
Pat enjoys travelling to Europe where she visits her family as often as possible. She is an avid football fan and loves the mountains and beaches of North and South Carolina. Pat is also an animal lover and donates a portion of her commissions to the ASCPA. She now resides in South Charlotte and enjoys the company of her four grandchildren.
Tracie Gardner is a native North Carolinian, a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and an M B A candidate at Pfeiffer University Charlotte. She also studied as a SPECIAL SCHOLAR at Die Hochschule Mainz (Univ. of Applied Science Mainz, Germany), Graduate Seminar- “Strategies for Building High Performance Teams.” She completed the Real Estate Brokerage Course at Central Piedmont Community College. Tracie has a passion for helping others. She will take your objectives to heart and help make them a reality. It is her goal to exceed your expectations with her attention to detail, unwavering work ethic, and dedicated client care. Tracie is a member of the Charlotte Area Association of Realtors/National Association of Realtors.
Broker/owner of The McLemore Group, Dan has provided the Greater Charlotte area with the highest level of real estate service and product knowledge. Dan has personally sold real estate in the Southeastern area of the U.S. with the Charlotte area as his base of operation since the 1980's. He has a reputation as being a professional and experienced negotiator in the industry. Dan has assisted many land owners, developers and new home builders in the sale and marketing of their properties. Most of his clients are sellers and buyers of homes and land. Many who know Dan have witnessed first-hand how he uses his acquired skills and knowledge to close a transaction. Dan's career started in the USAF Strategic Air Command (SAC) as and ICBM missile launch crew member. Later he became a sales engineer for the American Standard/ Mosler Corporation selling products used in construction, which led him into Real Estate. He loves being outdoors and experiencing nature, playing golf, fishing and hunting. Dan is a proud husband, father and grandfather with all of his family living in the Greater Charlotte Area.
Jane is a native North Carolinian and has been a full-time realtor/broker since 1977. She lives in Historical Matthews and can answer any questions you may have about what's going in her area. She is very experienced in real estate sales and has a vast knowledge of the Charlotte-Metro area. Jane has assisted buyers by finding new or existing homes in all price ranges. She is a great asset to any buyer or seller looking to manage properties or purchase/sell land and small commercial properties . Being experienced in new home sales, many of her customers needed to purchase lots before they could start their homes. Jane has a reputation for being a "lot-finder" and is an agent who gets results.
